Terms of service
Terms of Service
The Content Engine Software Version 1 | Effective 8/17/26
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of The Content Engine Software ("the Product"), created and owned by Ruszel Paine Cuajotor ("the Creator").
By purchasing, accessing, duplicating, or using the Product, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the Product.
2. Definitions
"You" means the individual or single business entity that purchased the Product.
"Your Business" means the single company, brand, or sole proprietorship operated by you.
"Team Member" means an employee, contractor, virtual assistant, or freelancer who works directly for Your Business, under your direction, and who accesses the Product solely to perform work for Your Business.
"The Product" means the Content Engine Notion workspace and everything inside it, including all databases, page templates, views, formulas, property structures, automation templates, written frameworks, instructional text, and the accompanying support video library.
"Your Copy" means the duplicated instance of the Product inside your own Notion account.
3. What you are allowed to do
Your purchase grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the Product for Your Business. Under this license, you may:
a. Duplicate the workspace into your own Notion account.
b. Use it commercially to plan, script, produce, publish, and track content for Your Business, including content you sell or monetize.
c. Modify Your Copy freely. Rename databases, add or delete properties, change views, adapt templates, and restructure anything to fit how you work.
d. Give Team Members access. You may share Your Copy with Team Members so they can do their jobs — write scripts in it, edit videos from it, manage your DMs through it, log your numbers into it.
e. Keep the output. Everything you create using the Product — your scripts, videos, captions, lead magnets, and data — belongs entirely to you. The Creator claims no ownership over your content.
f. Make internal backups of Your Copy for your own recordkeeping.
4. What you are not allowed to do
You may not:
a. Resell, license, or sublicense the Product, Your Copy, or any modified version of it, whether for money, trade, or free.
b. Present it as your own. You may not remove, alter, or obscure attribution and then distribute the Product as your own template, product, framework, or system.
c. Distribute it publicly. This includes posting the workspace, a duplicate link, or the template anywhere it can be accessed by people outside Your Business — including websites, communities, Discord or Slack servers, Google Drive folders, file-sharing sites, marketplaces, or social media.
d. Bundle it. You may not include the Product, or any material portion of it, as a bonus, freebie, lead magnet, or component of any offer, course, membership, coaching program, or community you sell or give away.
e. Give it away. Sharing access with people who are not Team Members is prohibited, including friends, peers, students, clients, audience members, or other creators.
f. Rebuild and redistribute it. You may not recreate the Product's structure, database architecture, template system, or written frameworks in another tool for the purpose of distributing, selling, or publicly sharing that recreation. Copying the system into a different platform does not make it yours.
g. Share your access credentials or purchase link with anyone.
h. Use it to build a competing product. You may not use the Product as the basis for a template, system, or workspace that you offer for sale or public distribution.
i. Republish the written material. The frameworks, instructional text, prompts, and video content may not be reproduced, republished, or redistributed in whole or in substantial part.
5. Team Member access, in detail
Team Member access exists so you can actually run your business. It is not a way to extend the license.
- Team Members may access Your Copy only while working for Your Business.
- Team Member access must be revoked when the working relationship ends.
- Team Members may not duplicate Your Copy for their own use, their own business, or any other client.
- Team Members may not retain, export, or take any part of the Product with them when they leave.
- You are responsible for your Team Members. If a Team Member distributes, resells, or misuses the Product, that is treated as your breach of these Terms.
It is your responsibility to make Team Members aware of these restrictions before granting access.
6. Agency, client, and consulting use
You may use the Product internally to produce content for your clients, including content you are paid to create.
You may not duplicate, install, hand over, or set up the Product inside a client's own workspace, account, or business. Doing so distributes the Product to a party that has not purchased it.
If you want your clients to have their own copy, each client must purchase their own license. Discounted or bulk licensing may be available — contact the Creator.
7. Ownership
The Product and all intellectual property in it remain the exclusive property of the Creator. Your purchase is a license to use, not a transfer of ownership.
This includes the structure and architecture of the databases, the template systems, the written frameworks and methodology, the instructional and support video content, and the product name and branding.
Modifying Your Copy does not create ownership of the underlying Product. Extensive customization does not exempt Your Copy from these Terms.
8. Derivative works
You may adapt the Product for internal use as described in Section 3(c). You may not create, publish, or distribute derivative works based on the Product for use outside Your Business, including modified templates, "inspired by" versions, or repackaged systems, regardless of how much has been changed.
9. Confidentiality
The Product contains proprietary material not publicly available. You agree to treat it as confidential and to take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorized access, including screen-sharing the workspace publicly, showing it in detail in your own paid or free content, or leaving duplicate links publicly accessible.
Showing the Product incidentally — mentioning it, referring to it, or briefly showing it on screen — is permitted.
10. Feedback
If you submit suggestions, feature requests, or feedback, you grant the Creator an unrestricted right to use that feedback to improve or expand the Product without obligation, compensation, or attribution to you.
11. Third-party services
The Product is built for use with Notion and references third-party services including ManyChat and Google. The Creator is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any of them.
- You are responsible for your own accounts, subscriptions, and fees with those services.
- Their terms and policies govern your use of them.
- If a third-party service changes, restricts, or discontinues a feature the Product relies on, the Creator is not liable and no refund is owed.
12. No guarantee of results, no professional advice
The Product is a system of templates and frameworks. It does not write, film, or post content for you, and it does not guarantee any level of growth, revenue, leads, followers, or business outcome.
Results depend on your own effort, skill, offer, market, and circumstances. Nothing in the Product or its marketing is a promise of income or performance.
The Product is provided for informational and organizational purposes only and does not constitute legal, financial, tax, or professional business advice.
13. Availability and updates
The Product is delivered as a duplicable Notion workspace. Once you duplicate it, Your Copy is yours and continues to work independently.
The Creator may update, expand, or restructure the original Product at any time. Updates may be provided at no additional cost at the Creator's discretion but are not guaranteed. The Creator does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the original workspace, support videos, or hosted links.
14. Enforcement and termination
The Creator may revoke your access and terminate this license immediately, without refund, if you breach these Terms.
Termination does not limit any other remedy available, including claims for copyright infringement, breach of contract, and recovery of damages, lost revenue, and legal costs.
The Creator reserves the right to monitor for unauthorized distribution and to pursue takedowns and legal action against infringing copies.
15. Limitation of liability
The Product is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Creator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption arising from your use of or inability to use the Product.
Total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you actually paid for the Product.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Creator from any claim, loss, liability, or expense arising from your use of the Product, your breach of these Terms, or the acts of your Team Members.
17. Refunds
All sales are final. Refunds are governed by the separate Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
18. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated at any time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs your purchase. Continued use of the Product after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full force.
20. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California.

In plain English
Yes, you can: duplicate it, change anything you want, use it to make money, let your team work inside it, and keep everything you create with it.
No, you can't: sell it, give it away, post it publicly, bundle it into your own offer, set it up inside a client's account, or rebuild it somewhere else and call it yours.
One purchase covers one business. If someone else wants it, they buy their own.
